Glyn Godwin

Glyn Godwin

Glyn J. Godwin can only be described as unique–spiritually, academically, and professionally. In his conversations, he often says that even at 63, he still doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up. His resume supports his self-deprecatory description.

Glyn is bold in his Christian faith. That boldness came after years of devotion to secular intellectualism and atheism his long tenure in academia seeded within him. Glyn earned a bachelorette in biology from Southeastern Louisiana University, then a masters in microbiology. From there, he earned a Ph.D. in food microbiology and toxicology from LSU. Glyn’s dissertation was published in the form of a scientific article in the Microbiology Section of the prestigious, refereed scientific journal, The Journal of Food Science. Before graduating LSU, Glyn took the Law School Aptitude Test, feeling he might want to return to law school. After graduating LSU with his doctorate, he joined the faculty of the University of Rhode Island as assistant professor. After a year in the northeast, he decided to return to Louisiana to attend LSU law school. He graduated LSU in 1980 and currently practices law in Slidell, Louisiana.

“What you are about to read is going to change your life.”

“This book personifies the essence of what a personal relationship with God can look like. Further, it reveals the fabric of what this relationship can do and produce. I have known Kenny Adams for many years.  And the greatest thing I know about his life, is his intimate relationship with the Lord.  It’s important first of all, because I don’t know many men with this kind of relationship with God.  Secondly, the Lord is yearning for more of His people to enter into a deeper relationship with him and this book gives the invitation to do so.”
